Who am I

Hi, I’m Ferdy Liew Jin Hui, originally from Malaysia. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Design (UX Interaction Design) at Swinburne University of Technology, having transferred from the Sarawak campus to Melbourne to specialise in UX/UI Design. I’m now in my final year and set to graduate by the end of 2025.

My design interests span across brand identity, graphic design, illustration, website development, and user interface design. I enjoy exploring how design can connect people, simplify experiences, and bring ideas to life. Over the years, I’ve developed strong proficiency across various design tools and creative applications, allowing me to adapt and express ideas effectively in both digital and visual mediums.

Although I’m still at the early stages of my career, I approach every challenge with curiosity, persistence, and a strong desire to learn from the best. I see design as an evolving journey, and I’m eager to grow my skills and contribute meaningfully within the creative industry.

Alongside my studies, I currently work part-time in hospitality at Mamak Melbourne, which has strengthened my ability to multitask, stay composed under pressure, and communicate effectively with diverse teams, skills that I believe translate well into design collaboration and project work.
